So Much For Double The Money, This Went For 60 Times Face Value

Previous visitors will have seen details of my discovery of an otherwise ordinary ten pence piece which had been released into circulation by the Royal Mint with two flaws.

My previous post outlined eBay bidding to a late stage but now I can confirm this flawed little 10p coin sold for £6 (YES – SIX POUNDS!) and has now been sent to the winning bidder in Lincolnshire following a bidding war with another keen collector in England.
